Harry Potter

I have spent the last few weeks re-reading all 7 volumes of Harry Potter. I decided that I wanted to read all of them again, consecutively. And I have to say that I just love them! They are such good books, and it's amazing how they all tie together. I know, most of you are wondering how I find time to read at all. And I have to admit that I stopped reading for many years because it was too difficult. But in the last few years, I have found that reading is very therapeutic for me. It's my way of releasing stress, and I need it. There's just nothing like curling up with a blanket and a good book (especially with our weather the last couple days!). Anyway, just thought I'd share, and if any of you do have some spare moments, it was great to read them all back-to-back. It will be interesting to see what they do with movies 6 and 7 because there's no way they can fit everything in!

I hardly ever read these days because it's so hard to find the time. But I guess it's one of those things that if you really want to do it, you can make the time for it. When I finally decided to read Harry Potter, I was able to read the first 4 (or was it 5?) it a row and it made it so much easier to follow everything than trying to remember what happened in the last book you read a really long time ago.

I have been a reading freak the last 2 weeks. I reread Harry Potter 7, and Twlight (thats the only one I own or I would of read the other 2, I will purchase them soon), then I read Autobiography of a face, and now I am reading a book that I srarted a while ago and never finished. I only have time for 1 hobbie at a time it is either reading, sewing, crafting, or scrapbooking. I agree it is the best kind of therapy.

I'm impressed! I haven't even read through all of them once! Someday. I think you gave great advice about reading though- what a good outlet for moms. :)

I just got done listening to them all on CD - consecutively. The reader (Jim Dale) does an excellent job and it's a fun way to drive to and from work.

I think movie #7 is going to have to be two separate movies. I think I read that somewhere.
