June 2009

Since I'm so far behind, I will try to give little synopses and not put too many pictures so you don’t get tired of reading everything! June had some fun events. Kelsey got her braces off! Now her smile is even more beautiful than before! Here are some before and after shots.

Kelsey also had Girls Camp. They went up American Fork Canyon to Granite Flats. I stole a couple of her pictures to post.

Kelsey also celebrated her 15th birthday!!! CRAZY! It was a fun day.

We also welcomed a new member of the family......

.....compliments of my extremely generous parents. We LOVE it and are so grateful to them!! Thank you, again!!

Kent was able to take a Lego Class with 5 of his friends through the City, which was very fun (I think)! It was quite a chore getting them all registered for the same class, but after working with the teacher, we were able to do it! They went an hour a day for 10 days, and I think they all had a good time. I didn't get any pictures of them, but here he is with his friend, Josh (who did take the Lego class with him), and just a cute picture of him!

We were able to attend the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House with Victor’s sister and her family, and also take Victor’s mom who was here visiting from Mexico. Beautiful building. And no, this isn't a picture of when we went (obviously, since there is no snow in June!), but I liked it.

Victor also ran the Wasatch Back Ragnar Relay, which is a 188-mile race that you run in teams of 12, from Logan to Park City. It was a grueling 33 hours, but they did it! I think Victor ended up running 3 legs for a total of 18 miles. I don’t know if he’ll do it again or not (!), but I think it’s an absolutely amazing accomplishment!!
